Garth Brooks - In Pieces.
The colours and design fist shown on the CD cover have been continued onto the CD. This may have been to create a bigger emphasis on the fact that Garth Brooks himself may be in pieces. Although, as it is continued right through it may be a way to put some people on edge.
There is a contrast in colours however, when we look at the insert where Garth Brooks is wearing blue. Blue is mainly seen to be innocent, pure and calming, however this may not have the desired affect on all people.
The picture of Garth Brooks on the insert is only slightly different to the one on the front CD cover. The way he is sat is exactly the same so they have carried continuity between the two pictures, but the have a straight view of him where in the picture on the cover they have used a side profile. This picture makes Garth Brooks look like he is in a safe place where he can be calm, which is a contrast to the front where it looks like he is unsure of what he is meant to be doing.
The unfolds into 6 sections and is backed so there is information on each side. One side has a black background and includes the lyrics to all the songs that are on the CD.
- Standing Outside The Fire
- The Night I called The Old Man Out
- American Honky-Tonk Bar Association
- One Night A Day
- Kickin' And Screamin'
- Ain't Going Down ('Til The Sun Comes Up)
- The Red Strokes
- Callin' Baton Rouge
- The Night Will Only Know
- The Cowboy Song
The other side of the insert is Red, with the exception of the cover which is the same as the cover on the CD cover. Another exception to this is the boac square which has the image shown above on it. On the Red side, it has information containing the record label, and the producer of the album
'Allen Reynolds'.
'Allen Reynolds'.
